Gaetano Renato (Italy/Business consulting) and Herta Toedtling-Schoenhofer (Austria/EU programmes and policy development)

Gaetano Renato (NE): “During the exchange I had the possibility to reflect and develop the business model for my company, in dialogue and discussion with Herta. We discussed my plans and visions for my company. Herta enriched them by reflecting the development of Metis. This has been a combination between accumulation of know-how, entrepreneurial spirit and risk taking, working with good experts and finally also being lucky in some stages of the evolution. Both agreed that a business needs planning, but one has to react fast to adapt the plans if necessary.” Weiterlesen …

Nastasja Minja (Slovenia/Psychology) and Valentina Bortolotto (Italy/Education and training services) – Corona Story

Since the corona crisis struck I have been staying in the house and complying to the restrictions of movement and social interactions. Not my cup of tea to stay inside and avoid physical contact with people, but what can we do… We need to have respect for others who suffer great consequences, if they contracted the virus. And since it is apparently extremely contagious and you never know how or where you can get in touch with it, we should all find the power within us to respect the quarantine and be patient until new rules apply.

I am keeping contact with my host through What’s App and am continuing with our collaboration online as many others decided to do. I am working on creating content for sport psychology (my profession) while at the same time being available for my host for any activities and possible help he would need from me that I can provide online. I adapted my first SMART goal to the current situation and will complete my work on time until the first deadline. Weiterlesen …

Muhamer Mustafa (North Macedonia/Entertainment industry) – Corona Story

My relationship with my Host Entrepreneur started on the 10th of February of this year. We had a strong start working towards our goals because my business plan matches my HE’s current business model. I got to the chance to learn great information from the beginning, and it was like a dream coming true. One week after, the government of Italy locked down the Lombardy region, by this time me and my HE were already looking for ways on how to prepare in case of a lockdown in our region, that of Tuscany. In our commitment that we prepared before our relationship started, we did agree on working on Marketing strategy and Financial planning for the first half of our EYE relationship, so for us, there was a possibility to work remotely together on our weekly schedule without sacrificing much of our goals. Overall, I would say that we have been affected in two areas, the first, not having a daily routine at the studio and not being able to share information in the place, while working. And the second was, we had to apply some changes and try to adapt in the new situation, that includes the workspace and also using new tools in communication, by changing and adapting the frequency of our interactions to the situation, on a daily basis. Luana Loria (Italy/Cultural projects) and Margarida Branco (Portugal/Distribution and retail) – Corona Story

The bookstore “Ler Por Ai” (Lisbon, Portugal) closed on the 13th of March due to Covid-19 spreading across Europe and Portugal and according to the measure of the Government. I started my Erasmus exchange at the bookstore on the 3rd of February and due to the current situation, the owner Margarida and me talked about the opportunity to work by teleworking, although it would be not possible to perform all the tasks indicated in the work commitments. Therefore, I decided not to go back to my family’s house in Italy since I considered not safe traveling to go back to my country in this period and I chose to collaborate by teleworking with my HE, Margarida Branco, keeping on our exchange in Lisbon. This time, the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme brings us to explore the exchange between Frantz Ducci, from Belgium, and Susanna Cremaschi, from Italy, respectively host and new entrepreneurs.
Belgium is far over its clichés and has surprises in store for everyone. This is the case of a very specific sector in which Belgium stands as one of the main leaders in Europe; and probably only professionals and enthusiasts are aware about it. We are talking about horses and their breeding, training and trade. Weiterlesen …
